What Is Tanalised Wood.

This type of wood is treated with chemicals in a different way to pressure treated wood.

The chemicals are more resilient to moisture and insects that attack and rot wood.

This kind of treated wood has a pale green colour which can blend in very nicely in the garden giving you an overall satisfying finish.

I would highly recommend using this wood, in my experience it last longer and is more pleasing to the eye.

Using this material will give you many years of trouble-free fencing, once installed you will be the envy of your neighbours.

It is slightly more expensive than conventional pressure treated wood.

You may be concerned about chemicals in wooden fencing, the law stipulates that any treated wood must pass certain regulations.

Years ago chemicals in wood were harmful to the environment chemicals such as arsenic were used to preserve the wood, you can rest assured that that only CE approved products are now used.

Tanalised wood is very safe to use in your garden environment, it will give you many years of trouble-free fencing, and help to avoid rot.

In my opinion it is the very best of material to use for fencing,

All fencing has to be treated with wood preservative at least every 18 months and should be coated liberally with a good quality preservative preferably oil-based which will help any moisture seeping into the wood and causing rot.

If treated regularly your fencing will last for many years bud you must treet every 18 months.
