The option for post and rail is to install the fencing using either a two or three rail system, using three rail will give you approximately 4’6” in height.
Post and rail is very common in use to define a boundary or for livestock, a galvanised mesh can also be added to prevent small animals from breaching the boundary.
Another typical farm fencing is called clef rail fencing
This comprises of two or three rails which are rustic and not uniform, i.e. the horizontal rail is un
straight twisted in its appearance.
